Open House January 30 from 4:30pm until 6pm

Get ready for the 2025-26 school year! Sign in to your parent SchoolZone account between February 3rd and March 19th to select your child’s preferred school for next year.

Whether your child is staying at the same school or changing schools, all students need to pre-enroll. Knowing how many students to expect helps schools prepare to welcome them in September.
If you need help, contact the school or go to our Registration Page on EPSB.ca.

Moved?
Update your child’s current address with the school office before pre-enrolling in SchoolZone.

New to the Division?
Instead of using SchoolZone, students who are new to Edmonton Public Schools need to submit a completed Student Registration form. Find the form and list of supporting documents you need to provide.

Principal's Message

Welcome to Avonmore, a place where we support students in "Growing Deeper and Reaching Higher".

All of us at Avonmore are committed to creating a safe learning environment by celebrating every success. Our staff strives to provide authentic, hands-on learning experiences that encourage students to explore and interact with the natural world around them.

We offer special needs programming in all our classes and in our Community Living Skills and connection classes. The regular elementary also serves the students living in the Avonmore community. Additional information about these programs is available under the Programs tab of this website.

We are committed to building relationships with parents and operating in a climate of mutual respect and trust. Communication is key, and we welcome your input and assistance in supporting your child’s learning at our school. Please feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions.

We look forward to working together with our families and community.

Yours in education,

Michelle McCulloch, Principal
